My teacher uses math to get grades and percentages. She uses math to find the days in a grading period. She also uses math to do her check book and when she goes shopping. Another way that my teacher uses math is to find out her gas mileage. My teacher uses math everyday.

My uncle has a hair salon called Kenith & Co. He uses math to find out how much hair solution to buy, how to price the hair care products and how to price the hair cut. There is also a lot of math involved in running the cashier like how much to give back to the person. He uses math to figure how much dye to use, and how much to put into improving the shop. he also uses math to pay the shops bills like electricity and water.

I interviewed Gayle Wolfram the secretary at my school to see how she uses math in her work. She uses math to manage the money, to see the hours and minutes that the students are in school and finds out how much money the school will get. She also uses math to figure out how much money the school needs to put in to the bills for each month. That is how the secretary at my school uses math in her work.

===================

We had to interview a grownup to see how they use math on their job. I chose to interview Mrs. Coloserdo and she said : When I'm budgeting I use math because I have to balance out how much money we will have left and how much we have spent. I use math when I'm ordering books for the library, and when I am working with the curriculum I have to use math to make sure that everyone got their proper grades. That's how she uses math on her job, how do you use math on your job?
