My mom is a sales clerk and the first way she uses math is when she is on a cash register and she has to give her costumers change. She also uses math when she fills out the orders of merchandise so she can keep her shelves full. Another way my mom uses math is when she measures people to see what size they wear. My mother uses math when she looks at the clock to tell how much longer she has to stay in work. One other way my mom uses math is when people need to go to the fitting room and my mom has to give the people a hanger to put on the outside of their door according to the number of clothes they have. My mom also uses math when she categorizes the clothes to their sizes. Lastly my mother uses math when she estimates how much her paychek will be. My mom finds more reasons everyday to use math at work.
