From the perspective of a peacock

Peacock

I was caught to live inside a big green net and that man over there built a little jungle with beautiful rivers and lakes. Many other birds are living in here. There are usually a lot of guys trying to get the ‘chicks’. Right now I’m trying to get this hot gal interested in me. I’ll impress her by flinging my beautiful funky colorful feathers. …………….. She’s still not noticing me, for some strange reason. But wait! There’s another girl standing over there! I’ll see if she’ll notice me..... unlike the other one, who totally ignored me. ……………. Nope. She’s also not noticing me.

Hey! I mean, what do you expect? Me, a handsome male peacock, having like totally nothing to do, and all I wanted was just to flirt with these two other gal peacocks! And what do they do? THEY JUST TOTALLY IGNORE ME! Geez! Really! .

Anyway, that’s enough about those two gals. I guess I should tell you about this BIG cage. The cage is actually like being outside, except that in here it’s more artificial. Birds chirping everyday; wind blowing, but the days are yet sunny. No bird would like any rainy days. It makes this place really muddy and ugly and stinky. You get to see these other cool birds, like this obnoxious bird called the Golden Pheasant. Nearby there’s a cute little bunny rabbit. She usually sleeps, though. This cage won’t allow me to fly as high as the clouds, and things are pretty cool, but boring in here. Practically every day we see these strange animals called ' humans ' flashing lights around, because they have to do something that is called ' taking photos.'

Well, I’m pretty beat, after telling you about these things and that I used all my energy impressing those mean stuck-up gals. So, cya!
