by Suwalee Buasuwan

13 April

Wan Songkran is Thailand's New Year day in the former time. The word "Wan" is a Thai word means "Day" in English. Thai people go to the temple in the morning to make a merit. Then in the afternoon they usually go out and walk on the street the celebrate. They have a bucket of water and a small bowl. When they meet they will throw the water to each other. Some put the powder on the other face to make up. The celebration is very very fun. Nowadays, there are so many foreigners join this festival.
