Thinking Day - Several countries
by Brownie Troop 10

22 February

Thinking day ia a day when all Girl Scouts and Girls Guides worldwide think of their scouting sisters and to give to the Thinking day fund. The money is to be used to promote Girl Guiding/girl Scouting in isolated areas, and to assist with training, or to support projects that deal with the problems of malnutrition, illiteracy, or people with disabilities. It is also the joint birthday of Lord and Lady Baden Powell

Girl Scouts in the USA usally choose a country and learn what the children do, eat, play. wear, in that country. They also give money to the Thinking day fund. Most Leaders ask that each Girl Scout give 1 penny for each beanie baby that they have, or 1 penny for each window, ect
