Stay Home With Your Kids Day For Immediate Release Friday, July 31, 1998 Cheryl Demas, Editor WAHM.com chdemas@aol.com (916)985-2078 (800)373-3931 Folsom, CA --- WAHM.com - The Newsletter and Online Magazine for Work at Home Moms is sponsoring the second annual "Stay Home With Your Kids Day" on August 17, 1998. While we realize that not all parents can or wish to be home full-time with their children, WAHM.com encourages working parents to take a vacation day on August 17, and spend the day with their children. The purpose of the day is to encourage and support those parents who have chosen, and those who are thinking about leaving the traditional workplace to be home with their children. Cheryl Demas, editor of the WAHM.com newsletter and web site, says "Leaving your job may not be an easy decision, but if your heart aches every time you drive away from the daycare center in the morning, it might be time to make a change." There are many options for parents today, aside from working full-time outside the home. Many parents are finding that working from home is the perfect solution to their work/home dilemma, and WAHM.com is dedicated to providing advice, support and entertainment to Work at Home Moms everywhere. Demas states, "If we can have a day to take our children to work, we should be able to devote one day to staying home with our children. WAHM.com is here to support and encourage those who have found a way to make it work. Give it a try, ‘Mom’ can be the best job description you've ever had."
