Jueves y Viernes Santo
The resting time not corresponding to An~o Nuevo, Jueves y Viernes Santo, Da del Trabajo, Fiestas Patrias and Navidad will be taken the next monday; according with the Decreto Legislativo 713.
Now in Easter the Jueves Santo is resting time all the day (before it was just half of the day). Until 1993, "El da del campesino" was resting time half of the day, since 1994 it won't.

Angela, pleased to solve your questions!
Let me give you a little spanish lessons:
Viernes = Friday
Jueves = Thursday
Santo = Saint (male adjetive), holy
Viernes Santo is the same like your Good Friday in Easter.
It is easy to understand, the native Bible's Hebrew and Greek give the word saint (Santo, Santa) the meaning 'separated for God'.
Jueves y Viernes Santo means: the Thursday and Friday separated for God. In english it sounds like: Holy Thrusday and Friday. (holy is used sometimes to give that sense).
I hope, I helped you. If not, don't doubt to ask more.
friendly
