Christmas Eve - Norway
by 6th graders at Eydehavn school
24 December
OUR CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS....
Then comes the 24th, Christmas night - when Santa Claus comes, and everyone is excited, even if it's dad hiding behind the mask. Many people go to church this day, and then go home with their families to celebrate. And the favourite menu is :
Pork ribs or turkey
Creamed rice with one almond for dessert.
And the prson who gets the almond gets a present - mostly a
marzipan pig...
Christmas time means time for family and parties and lots of good food.
So we look forwards to Christmastime........
MERRY CHRISTMAS from 6th graders at Eydehavn school,
in Arendal, Norway
AND A PEACEFUL NEW YEAR...........
