OUR CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS....

Every year, late in November or early in December, we start our preparations to Christmas. In Norway we have a special time called Advent - which is celebrated the four last Sundays before Christmas. We light one candle the first Sunday of Advent and two the next untill all four candles are burning.

At school we have an assembly where we sing Christmas songs, read poems and light candles. We also read Christmas-stories and legends. All the students at school are gathered in our music-room to take part.
