Multi-Cultural Calendar Setsubun - Japan

My family throws beens outside at night in Sethubun every year.
Then, we shout "Devils out, good luck!" and we close the door quickly.
At first, we eat as many beans as our age. Sometimes we eat
Makizushi; we eat in a special direction (it changes every year,
this year, north north east) and become happy.
