Anzac Day - Australia

ANZAC DAY

The Word ANZAC day means Australian & New Zealand Army Corps. We Celebrate by watching people who have been in any of the wars march ing in the streets and eating Anzac biscuits . Here is the recipe:

        ANZAC BISCUITS
        4 ounces butter
        1 tablespoon Golden syrup
        2 tablespoons of boiling water
        1 and a half tablespoons of Bicarbonate of soda
        1 cup of rolled oats
        3 quaters of a cup Diced coconut
        1 cup (4ounces ) plain flour
        1 cup ( 8 ounces )of sugar
        Combine all dr ingredients but not soda
        Combine all dr ingredients but not soda
        Add melted butter
        Stir in soda mixed with boiling water
        Place in spoonsful on greased tray
        Cook in moderate oven about 20 minutes
        Allow to cool
        Store in airtight container
