We are a fifth grade class of 25 students. We are a small school of 215 students in K-6. The name of our school is Lone Rock. We are the oldest operating school in Montana. We are a rural school that sits out in the country. If you find Stevensville on a map, we are just ten miles from there. Out sports name is the Lone Rock Rockets. Our sports are mostly within the school.
We live in a valley with mountains on the east and west sides. One of the tallest peaks is called St. Mary's Peak. The school is next to the volunteer fire department. Our climate is cold in the winter and pretty warm in the summer. In the summer it stays light until about 10:00 P.M.
The activities we enjoy outside of school are football, basketball, sledding and skiing. When it's sunny we like to play kickball, baseball, go shopping, hiking, and camping. Sometimes we like to just watch TV or listen to music. We have a variety of places to go swimming: the University pool, neighboring ponds, the river, or Nimrod Hot Springs.
We hope you have good luck and a good time with the Landmark Game.
