Subject: Landmark Game
To: KIDPROJ@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU
Greetings from Little Egg Harbor Intermediate School. We are very excited to be participating in this years Landmark Game. We are two fourth grade classes with 45 students. We have a wall between our classes which opens up between our rooms, and we do most subjects together.
Our school has approximately 1,000 students from grades three through sixth. We have had to live through a flood and a fire in our school this year. Luckily we just had an addition completed on our school and had an extra room to go to while our room was being repaired from the flood.
Little Egg Harbor Township is in a rural town in South Jersey. We are located between Long Beach Island and Atlantic City. Many of our parents work at the casinos. Many of us also live on lagoons. These are canals that lead to the Great Bay where we keep our boats.
Most people probably think of New Jersey as being polluted and dirty. This is very true in the Northern portion of our state, however, we live in a very different atmosphere in the Southern part. We have several large forests and the Pine Barrens in our community. It is very nice.
We look forward to finding the landmarks with the clues given, and stumping you with our clues.
Mr. Vaughn's and Miss West's fourth grade classes.
