Hello Landmark game players,

We are very excited to be accepted into this project. We are a fourth grade class writing from Allen Creek School in Pittsford, New York.

Pittsford is a small suburb of Rochester in western New York State. We have about 20,000 people in our town. Allen Creek is a small school of about 370 students in grades k-5. Parts of our school building are over 150 years old. Our teacher's name is Mrs. MacMillan and our librarian's name is Mrs. Brady. We will be doing this project as a classroom-library project. We have 19 students in our class.

Right now it is quite warm for January in our area. Usually we have quite a bit of snow by now and temperatures in the 20 degree range. But this year we have had practically no snow and temperatures have gotten as high as 50 or 60! We enjoy four seasons where we live.

We are looking forward to doing research with your clues to find the landmarks.
