This project ended in 1997. For information only.

The Landmark Game '97 will be organized and administered by the students of Germantown Academy for KIDPROJ a part of KIDLINK. To help you to understand the project, I've included the announcement of the game for 1997, and a list of the files from both the 1995 and 1996 game. These files include a list of participants, the clues and landmarks, the final tally and letters from participants.

To participate you must send in your Four Response Questions to Kidlink and subscribe to the Kidproj listserv. All correspondence for the game will take place on the Kidproj listserv. To subscribe to Kidproj send a message to the listerv.

This project has many wonderful aspects. It not only crosses the curriculum areas allowing students to call on their writing, problem solving, critical thinking, map reading and organizational skills but it also crosses grade levels and cultures. As you can see from the participant list elementary, middle and high school students from around the world participated as equals.

So if you are interested in getting involved become a member of KIDLINK and look for the official announcement in early December 1996 on KIDPROJ
