<A-Barb> I'm back - hope I didn't miss anything
<a-Hanne> ok... what do you think if we let the persons in the mystery be someone else...
<A-Barb> But we still need to get the papers to Denmark -  someone else?
<A-Barb> did you see the suggestions of an eagle or a seagull dropping it onto a boat?
<a-Hanne> no, you misunderstood us, we think about making the mystery without us as the acters...
<A-Barb> well, we haven't selected our characters yet so that is possible
<A-Barb> ideas?
<A-Barb> r the students there?
<a-Hanne> yes, we are 13
<A-Barb> any ideas, ladies & gentlemen?
<a-Hanne> jon suggested that the bird has some oil on it's wings
<A-Barb> ooh, that's good - where is john?
<A-Barb> this is jon not john?
<a-Hanne> yes jon is one of my students
<A-Barb> ok
<A-Barb> does it matter what kind of bird?
<a-Hanne> and then the papers can stick to the bird
<A-Barb> we have lots of eagles here - that sounds good  will the papers stay on all the way across the ocean?
<a-Hanne> it doesn't matter what kind of a bird it is, but it must be a big one
<A-Barb> we are researching the habits of eagles to see if they fly across the ocean
<A-Barb> but an eagle with oil on its wings - will be disoriented - can they fly with oil on the wings?
<A-Barb> maybe the tail..
<a-Hanne> no, but I mis the word I wanted to type- ok on the tail
<A-Barb> ok, then how do you get the papers?
<A-Barb> r u still of a field trip?
<a-Hanne> the bird rest on the boat, and then we see the papers
<A-Barb> ok  - now what do we have on the papers that you will recognize as a formula?
<a-Hanne> then name of the father and a phonenumber....
<A-Barb> how will you recognize it a important - maybe "top secret" written on it?
<a-Hanne> and then we will call back, but someone listen to our phonecall...
<a-Hanne> yes "topsecret" is ok
<A-Barb> well, we think the bad guys have already tried to get the papers - that's how they got out of the backpack
<A-Barb> the father realized the papers were missing - the bad guys tried to get them from the student and in the tussle the backpack (now papers) flew out
<A-Barb> maybe the bad guys trying to steal the formula saw the bird get the papers stuck, had a boat and followed the bird?
<A-Barb> do  you have seagulls there?
<a-Hanne> yes we have seagulls
<A-Barb> they would be a more likely candidate than an eagle
<A-Barb> they can rest on boats across the ocean
<A-Barb> reactions to bad guys?
<a-Hanne> yes, it's better with a seagull
<A-Barb> a seagull it is...
<a-Hanne> ...
<a-Hanne> we make a deal with the father to come and pick up the papers, but the bad ....
<a-Hanne> guys have heard what we have decided, and they will come instead of the father
<A-Barb> we've only written the first paragraph where the student exclaims that the papers are gone (we had chessie but will change to seagull) and then flashes back to a hectic morning...we had the bad guys approaching the student on a bridge - but you want them coming after the phone call, right?
<A-Barb> or do we want the bad guys trying to steal the papers, but waiting here for the phone call?
<A-Barb> we haven't thought all this part through yet - so let us know
<a-Hanne> the bad guys act as if they come from the father because they have heard the phonecall...
<A-Barb> the bad guys - where are they & who?
<A-Barb> where are they from?
<a-Hanne> but they have nothing to do with the father
<A-Barb> but they know the father was working on the formula?
<a-Hanne> the bad guys are some americans
<A-Barb> or how do they know about the formula?
<A-Barb> or  could they be from the oil countries in mid east?
<a-Hanne> the bad guys could be some of the fathers colleagues and now they want to sell the idea ...
<a-Hanne> to a company in another country
<A-Barb> ok, so they listen in on father's phone converstations?
<A-Barb> conversations
<a-Hanne> yes
<A-Barb> can they approach our student here first - or should we write another way for the papers to get loose?
<A-Barb> john thought we should have a couple of our students go to Denmark with the dad to get the formula - and that's how our two teams get together
<A-Barb> the bad guys beat the father there and get papers from you
<A-Barb> somehow
<A-Barb> then the two teams meet up and ?
<a-Hanne> Mette suggest that we handle the papers to the bad guys because we think they come from the father
<A-Barb> ok- good idea & when father gets there?
<a-Hanne> and when the father and the two students come to denmark we haven't the paper any longer
<A-Barb> should we have only part of the formula on the papers - the father has the rest?
<A-Barb> and your students help the father track down the bad guys?
<A-Barb> bad guys - how many?
<a-Hanne> 2 bad guys...
<a-Hanne> and then we help the father and the two students to catch the bad guys
<A-Barb> i assume they have electronic equipment to intercept the phone call....
<a-Hanne> intercept I don't know the word - please explain
<A-Barb> overhear the phone call
<a-Hanne> ok
<A-Barb> where  r the bad guys going with the formula?
<a-Hanne> well we have to stop here, the student have to go for another lesson .... to a sheik in the middle east
<A-Barb> ok - we will continue to write the first part and maybe (but I doubt it) the trip of the papers across the ocean
<a-Hanne> now the students have left - do you know something about the other danish calss
<A-Barb> see you next Friday?
<A-Barb> no haven't heard anything from them yet
<A-Barb> i will try to send email again
<a-Hanne> no, the computerlab is occupied by another calss the next two fridays :(
<A-Barb> so it's back to email again - or another day?
<a-Hanne> yes, first we can continue by email....
<A-Barb> do you want me to dcc send you the log from last time?
<a-Hanne> I think the computerlab is occupied most of the next two weeks
<a-Hanne> yes thank you
<A-Barb> should i send it now - do you have time to get it?
<a-Hanne> yes, if it comes through directely - or I can connect from home
<a-Hanne> hmmm I think I misunderstood you - what does dcc send means
<A-Barb> means i can send it to you now - you have to do a dcc receive
<A-Barb> or respond to the window that opens up
<a-Hanne> I don't know about that
<a-Hanne> and nothing happened, no window open up
<A-Barb> r u on mirc?
<A-Barb> the software u r using
<a-Hanne> no, I'm on telnet
<A-Barb> i don't know how to send it by telnet - there is probably something in your menus that says dcc receive?
<a-Hanne> yes, now I seethe menu-line it says receive and then I have 3 choises
<A-Barb> what are the choices?
<a-Hanne> ascii, kermit zmodem
<A-Barb> try zmodem
<a-Hanne> ok and what then
<a-Hanne> **0100000027fed4
