for a web site. Mr. John Ost helped the kids on the
computer to get the idea to make the story seem
like a real story. He lives in Massachusetts. and has helped them write
through online chats. You can see the mystery in process

On Friday, April 17th, the 4th graders in Mrs. Schulz's class converted the Dublin Elementary School library into a WORLD WIDE WEB. The first center was the math center.
The second center was the writer's center.

The third center was the science center . In that
center they were writing messages with chemicals. The children
enjoyed using the chemicals.
The fourth center invited visitors from around the world to join them online. They also liked to talk to the people around the world . They said the people were very nice on the computer. They used a map to find the country where the people lived on the chat line. They said lots of cool things on the chat line. The fifth center was the social studies center. They were building background information about Annapolis which is the setting of our story. The sixth center was the communicator.center. We sent
e-mail messages to Denmark's students.
The 4th graders did all this on Friday the 17th
of Apirl. They complete the center
They thanked Mr. John Ost, Mrs. Schulz, Mrs. Schmidt and 4th grade students. |
