Hi Barbara

>Hello to Hanne  :-)

>So all I need to do is to be sure that Hanne is CC with our
correspondence.....

yes, that's ok with us, but as I have told you before, we will not be
able to continue the work until week 9.

thank you, a lot of the plots are similar to what my students have come
up with.
I'll include the result of the first brainstorming - I already have
mailed it to John at january 15 - do you remember John?

************Brainstorm from 7.b**************

Our class is going on a camp school.

We are going by boat to Iceland or Eire.

We are leaving from Esbjerg on the westcost of denmark at night.
We sleeps in cabins.

Next morning one pupil is missing. Small traces of blood are found
where the pupil slept.

later the pupil is found on a toilet, very pale. He/she claims to have
had blood-nose, but can't remember very much.

One pupil stands alone on the deck. It is dark. Someone tries to push
him/her overboard but fails. The pupil sees a special ring on the
persons finger before he disappears.

later one pupil sees that another pupil wears a ring like that. This
pupil is a weird person.

We arrive to iceland/eire

We stay in a hut in a very deserted place. Woods, mountains and fog.

One pupil disapperas. Is found later drowned in a well, it looks like
an accident.

bad weather. A big tree falls and cut the phoneline.

Some pupils go for help (many miles) togther with one teacher.

The teacher in the hut goes out for a while with a pupil. The pupil
comes creeping back with a knife in his/her back. before he/she dies
he/she groans: "the teacher...."
Later the teacher returns and is very upset about what has happened.
Noone knows what to belive.

(The teacher who went for help has killed the pupils who were with
him/her and has returned and killed the pupil who went outside of the
hut with a knife - noone knows.

One of the pupils who went for help has survived, however, and is
running for help.

Some more pupils in the hut are killed. The police arrives.
The teacher who went for help is found dead (burned) - but is it
him/her?

They go home by the ferry.
Everything seems to be all right. But murder (the teacher) is still
alive and follows them. On board some more pupils are killed.
Bad weather - storm.

what's the murders motive?
the end: every thing seems to be solved, but there are still some loose
ends.

my comments:
I hadn't read the text before I typed it in here. The students have
made the brainstorm in the english-lessons with the english-teacher.
What do you think about it ? - *I* think there are too many pupils
killed here.

Now I have talked with the students if we can change some of the
murders only to be kidnappings, and they agreed :)

all the best
hanne
