Year's Kidlink Day
On October 20th, 1998, KIDLINK
kids from around the world will write a journal for each hour of their
day, beginning from the time they get up in the morning until they go to
bed that night. These journals will be sent to the KIDPROJ
list and may be sent to the list in the native language of the students.
September 28, 1998--Project is posted
October 09---Those teachers who want whole classes to participate may start preparing students for writing the journal. They may choose a day to practice in their own schools. Other teachers in the school might be involved by becoming aware that the students will be pausing on the hour to take notes for their journals (perhaps in their classes)
October 20--A KIDLINK DAY--journals are written--PLEASE put "A KIDLINK DAY" on the Subject line of the e-mail to the KIDPROJ forum.
Octobert 21--Students start posting their journals to the KIDPROJ email forum---For teachers who have a whole class doing the project, may limit the number of journals sent to perhaps the best 5. It is up to you.
November 2--Teachers start activites with the students using the journals and data gathered from the KIDPROJ email forum.
Please make plans to join us on this day.
