A KIDLINK DAY

September 29, 1997

Project is announced and registrations sent to moderator. Teachers will be using KIDPROJ-COORD list to discuss any parts of the project during its duration. Subscribe here by putting this message in the body of the this email form:

October 6-14

Those teachers who want whole classes to participate may start preparing students for writing the journal. They may choose a day to practice in their own schools. Other teachers in the school might be involved by becoming aware that the students will be pausing on the hour to take notes for their journals (perhaps in their classes)

October 15--A KIDLINK DAY

Journals are written--PLEASE put "A KIDLINK DAY" on the Subject line of the e-mail. They may choose a day to practice in their own schools. Other teachers in the school might be involved by becoming aware that the students will be pausing on the hour to take notes for their journals (perhaps in their classes).

Octobert 16

Students start posting their journals to KIDPROJ list with "A Kidlink Day" in the email subject line---For teachers who have a whole class doing the project, may limit the number of journals sent to, perhaps, the best 5. It is up to you.

November 1

Teachers start activites with the students using the journals and data gathered.
