My friends are an important part of my life because they make me think that I am able to do anything, and that if I do fail to accomplish whatever I'm trying to accomplish I will just try again. Also I can talk to my friends about things that I know I can't say to my parents.

Hi!!! My name is Kim and I am in the 6th grade at Delmar Elementary School. I would like to tell anyone who is reading this letter just what my friends mean to me. My friends are a very inportant part of my life because they are the people who cheer me up if I am down. My friends are the people who I can come to if I need someone to tell my problems to. Without friends, my world would be completely different. My friends stick by me and help me if I need help. If I think that I can't do something, my friends encourage me to keep tryng. Two of my most prized freinds are my parents.

Friendships to me are important because I only have a few friends and if I lost any of their friendships I would have even less. Sometimes your worst enemy might become your best friend. You just have to get to know that person. Here is some advice about friendship: If you have a friend, but no one else likes that person, just because they do not like that person that does not mean that you have to stop liking that person. This happened to me one time. I was put in this same situation. I stuck with my friend and now that friend has more friends and I do too. Everyone asked my why I liked that person and they tried to get me not to like that peson anymore. BUT the surprising thing about this story is that in 2nd grade and 3rd grade we hated each other. After what happened (when everybody hated that person) we became closer friends. I hope you will take my advice and stick with the really true friends!

My friendship are important to me because I remember this year I recently got in a fight with one friend and we have been friends since first grade and we got in a fight it really hurts to be away from that friend and they will probably talk about you and say bad things. Believe me it is not fun when people talk about you behind your back. HERE IS SOME ADVICE IF YOU AND YOUR FRIEND ARE NOT GETTING ALONG: Ask them what you did to hurt their feelings and try to work things out by talking it out but please don't let it start to get physical and start fighting. I know if they talk about you behind your back it will really get on your nerves and you just want to punch them. I'm now friends with the people I got in an argument we are getting along fine now. When I was in that argument well some people were being nice to me and we were friends but the people I got in a fight with were making fun of those people and that was not nice. After the people I got in a fight with were kind of friends with me well since they were nice to to me they made a card for me on a computer and it said sorry for actting so mean. Please have as many friends as you can.

Hi!! My name is Stephanie (Lauren) Palmer. I am going to talk about friendships. One of my best friends is Caitlin Rimkis. The other day in art someone cut my cup that we were making and I was completely finished. The kid that cut it is really popular. Nobody that saw him cut it would stand up for me-except Caitlin. She is a great friend. Everyone was mad at her for sticking up for me. But she said that she didn't care because she was my friend. This is my idea of a great friend. Caite is a great friend.

I think Friendships are important because they will always be there, no matter what. Friends always give a helping hand if you need one. They are there in good times and in bad. They always cheer you up. When you are sick, they wish you well. They talk to you, and they will never lie to you. Friendships are good and I think they will always be forever!!:-)

I think a person that is your friend is nice. If you tell them a secret that you would not tell anyone but your friend you know they would not tell anyone. My best friend is Tara Gibbs. We have been Best Friends from 3rd grade. Now we are in 6th grade. I tell her everything.
