My hero is my mom. A lot of people have heros that are great basketball
players or moviestars, but my hero is my very own mom. Last year she worked
two jobs, one in the day and the other at night. Even though she was working,
she still had time for me and my brother. Now she is looking for jobs, coming
home tired and is grouchy sometimes (but who isn't), but she still has time
for my family. When I grow up I want to be like my mom. My name is Haley.
I am in the seventh grade at Eben Hopson MIddle School, in Barrow, Alaska.
My hero is my grandmother. She is very nice and she works hard to keep
us up and at them. She goes to church and believes in God. She is the one
that inspires me to keep it up and not be afraid. My name is Annie and I'm in
the 7th grade at Hopson MIddle School in Barrow, Alaska
My inspirer is my mom because she's a hard worker. She likes what she
does. My mom is always working, at home or at the office or wherever she is.
I can always talk to her, she always inspires me to do things and work harder.

My heros are Mr & Mrs. Grace. They left their whole lives to come to
Barrow to tell people about God. They are missionaries. They told me about
Jesus and how he saved my soul. I will always try to be like them. I know I
probably won't travel very far away right now. I will be telling people about
Jesus for the rest of my life on earth.
My name is Brenda and I am a 7th grader at Eben Hopson Middle School in
Barrow, Alaska.
My hero is Grant Hill. I like how he plays basketball. I like what style he
likes, FILA. He is good at dunks, shots, rebounds, layups and dribbling.
