My Hero & Me

Responses:

My Hero

I think a hero is someone that you can look up to. A hero can be anyone.

A hero is someone that you might like what they do or how they act. A

hero is also someone that does things that most people are afraid to do.

My hero is Tino Martinez because he is one of the great baseball

players. He has the most home runs in his career and many people look up

to him.

I once read an article about Tino Martinez. It told about when he was

young, his goal was to be the best baseball player. He hit a ball

against a chain link fence in his yard so many times that it made a hole

in it.

I hope to have his strength to do the best that I can do and be the best

that I can be.

My Hero

To me a hero is someone who saves people's lives by something

like saving them from drowning . But a hero can also be someone who

helps and cares for others.

My hero is Mother Teresa. She was born in 1910 in Yugoslavia.

When she

was 18 years old she became a nun in Ireland. One year later she moved

to India to teach geography at a convent school in Calcutta. In 1946 she

started to work for the poor people who lived in slums. In 1948 she

opened the first school in a slum in Calcutta. A few years later she was

awarded the Nobel Peace Price for all her help towards the poor. Later

in 1980 she was given an other price. It was the Bharat Ratna price.

That was Indias best civilization award. The next year she came to

Newark in New Jersey to open a convent at Saint Augustine’s Parish. But

sadly, Mother Teresa past away on September 5th at the age of 87.

She is my hero because she spent most of her life helping the

poor and

sick people. I think it takes a lot of dedication to spent ones life

helping the poor and living in poor neighborhoods.

My Hero.
My hero is my mom. She is my hero because she takes care of me and

My Hero.
Terry Bradshaw is someone I have always admired. He was a great QB for
the Pittsburgh Steelers, my favorite team. When he retired from football
he started a new career as an announcer. Not everyone could have two
successful careers. Terry Bradshaw is also great with his wife and kids.
It's very important to him to be a good husband and father. I hope I
could lead a life as good as his.

My Mom the Hero!
My Heroine is my mom. She is my heroine because I can talk to her and
tell her anything. I love her very much. She is the best thing that ever
happened to me. She cooks, cleans, works, and still has time to have the
job of being a great mom. She has always been the best. She is
beautiful, nice, and charming. She buys my family food, drinks, and
clothes. She helps me with my homework. She is just the best mom in the
whole world.

A hero is someone you can trust and always count on. My mom is my hero.

My Hero.
My heroes are my parents. They take care of me. One day I went outside
to play. At the time I think I was five years old. My mom was watering
the plants and my dad was standing there. I was playing in my momís car
and it started to run down the hill. My mom screamed and my dad ran
after me and stopped the car.

The second time I was three. My father and I were sitting on the couch.
I was playing around and I tripped over the couch head first but my dad
caught me just before I hit the floor. My parents also love me.

My Hero.
Hero - brave noble man. My hero is my dad because if it wasnít for him
I wouldn't be alive, and I wouldnít have any food. My dad buys me
clothes and takes care of me and puts a roof over my head.

Heroine - My heroine is my mom and my old Dance teacher. If it wasnít
for my mom I wouldnít be alive. My mom takes care of me and buys me
clothes, food , and puts a roof over my head. I have another heroine
and she is my dance teacher. If it wasnít for her I wouldnít know of one
of me favorite things to do.

My Hero.
In the dictionary the word hero means someone who is admired for great
courage, special achievements, or noble character. To me it means
someone who you can look up to and try to be like. Also, a hero is
someone who can teach you many things and shows how to be the best that
you can be.

My hero is my cheering coach. I like her because sheís funny and teaches
us how to have fun with cheering. She works with us until we get it
right and then tells us how wonderful our cheers look. She expects us to
respect each other at all times.

I hope to be the same type of person she is when Iím older!

My Hero.
Princess Diana - I am writing about my heroine Princess Diana. I chose
to write about her because she did many things that nobody expected her
to do. I think that is what a hero or heroine is. She supported
charities of all kinds and comforted people with disease and people who
were dying.

She was an excellent mother of two children, Prince William and Prince
Harry. She was a famous person for what she did and I think thatís an
excellent reason to be well known. Princess Diana did things which I
feel are important and helpful to all people of the world. She was a
beautiful person with a beautiful heart.

My Heroes and Heroines.
The word hero means to me one who helps. He or she takes
responsibilities for helping people who are in danger or trouble. My
heroes are my parents because they taught me everything I need to know (
not everything almost everything ) and I hope that one day I can do all
those things. When I grow up I will teach it to my kids and show them
how to be a hero like my parent.

My Heroine
My mom is my heroine because she had me. She raised me for eleven and a
half years. she has been a really wonderful mom. My mom helps me with my

My Hero.
My hero is my father. He was born on December 27, 1951. After attending
college in New York he became an engineer. Then he attended law school
where he became a lawyer.

A hero is someone you can look up to. Someone you want to be like. In
this case the hero is my father. That is what I think a hero is. From
the dictionary the definition is a man who acts bravely a man noted for
his achievements.

My Hero.
A hero to me is a person who helps other people and takes time to care
for them.

My hero is my mom because she helps me do work if I need help. She cares
for me if Iím sick. she even buys me clothes and shoes if I need them.
My mom makes sure Iím safe all of the time and watches out for me. She
always knows just where I am. If itís cold out she makes sure Iím
zipped up tight. If itís cold and snowing Iím in my suit she makes
sure. I can not go outside unless Iím dressed to the weather so that I
wonít be too cold or too hot. So as you can see my mom is a hero to me.

My Heroine.
I never really thought what a heroine means to me until I had to do this
assignment, but now when I sit down and think of it, I came up with a
few thoughts. A heroine should be brave and strong, and stand up for
herself and courage.

The person I am relating to is Agnes Bojaxhiu, more commonly known as
Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa is a heroine because she would go out and
save people that were abandoned, or dying in the street. Mother Teresa
didn't just leave them she built a place where she would bring the
people and children, and took care of them, some until they died. She
explains it as, ìdying with dignityî!

Although she will never be forgotten, her death last Friday saddened the
whole world

My dad is my hero. My dad is my hero because he helps me when I need
help. He is always there for me. He takes my mom, sister, and me to lots
of places. If I need help with something he is always there.

My dad is my hero because he is just so very kind. My dad also helps me
when I need help with baseball, or with the computer.

I believe a hero is a person, male of course who is caring, kind, brave,
helpful, countful and of course admiring too.

I love my hero. My hero loves me too.

My Heroine.
My heroine is my mom. My mom is my heroine because she is caring, kind,
helpful, countful, and of course admirable. My mom is everything I
believe a heroine is.

My mom is a very kind person, she helps me when I need help. She takes
care of me when I get sick. When I get hungry my mom makes me food. She
is always there for me. She is always there for me when I get hurt. She
takes me to places where I have to go, like cheering practice, and
games. Of course she loves me.

I love my mom, and she loves me.
