ARGENTINA

My heroine is Mother Teresa of Calcuta because I like helping people.


I am at INTERACT (Rotary International's young group) and there we


try to help poor people and do things for the society.



I would like to be like Mother Teresa, give all that I have to the


others, and she didn't care about the place that she had to visit.


She was with the patients and she wasn't afraid of getting their


illnesses.



She gave us an important lesson: "the most beautiful day is today".


We should remember that.  We should help our "brothers and sisters"


today.  Tomorrow can be late.  A lot of people need our help.



Mother Teresa died but in each good action, she will be still with


us.

I'm trying to think about a hero and I've chosen John Lenon and Enzo


Francescoli.



John because he did many contributions not only to music but also to


the lives of people in the whole world with his messages in his


songs.  It's very difficult to answer why I'd like to be like him


because I'd like the fame he had but, on the other hand, I wouldn't


likel journalists chasing me all day long.  I'd like to be like him


to talk to the whole world through my songs for people to think about


important things that they don't usually think about.



Enzo Francescoli, an Argentine football player, in a different way


shows us that a man can do evrything he wants to.  Enzo made


everything for football to be like it is today and not many people


recognize it.



In my opinion, to be famous is very nice,  fame, money, etc. but the


pressure to keep this position is a lot.   An example of this is what


happened to Diego Maradona, another famous Argentine footbal player.


Each person is as he is because God made him  that way.  Each one has


a mission on Earth.

Our heroes are our families because they are very good with us.  They


are normal people, with defects and virtues, they help us, they give


us happiness and they are very important in our lives.  Sometimes


they make us get angry but they teach us to live.

Our hero is Ernesto Guevara,  called "Che".


The Argentine Ernesto "Che" Guevara (1928-1967) personifies the best

revolutionary romantic. Guevara  was  a student of  medicine when he

himself threw into  the adventure of travelling around  Latin

America,  discovering  the misery of his people.


With Fidel Castro and other Revolutionary Cubans he conducted the

fight in Cuba. His comrades  in arms baptized  him  "CHE"  because of

his  contribution to the  triumph of the revolution. Then he went

to Bolivia, where  he  created the partsans movement  in the Bolivian forest .


When on  October 9, 1967 he died, "Che" Guevara crystallized his look

and his life that  belonged to  the legend. He was the  incarnation of the hero

who loved  and  fought for  liberty up to death.


We've  chosen  "Che"  because this person was  very importamt to

impulse freedom in Latin America.

My hero is Enrique Iglesias, he was born in Madrid, Spain, in 8/5/75.
Now he is 22 years old.  He is a great success, he has two C.D.'s and
millions of fans.  He's a famous singer in the world.  He's very
sweet, nice, pleasant and a good person.  He has two brothers,
Chabeli and Julio Jr.  He's  Julio Iglesias and Isabel Presler's son.
 I love him, he's the best in the world.

that he is a singer, the best singer.
He was born in Puerto Rico on April 19, l970.  His full name is Luis
Miguel Gallego Bastery.
He recorded a lot of songs and he made a film with his father.  He
began his career when he was 12 and visited Argentina for the first
time when he was 18.  He has got a lot of fans, millions of fans.
His father sings like him, hir mother plays the piano and his brother
produces his records.  I want to meet him, everyone wants to meet
him!!  He's the best.

he is very handsome and friendly, and I like him because he is so sweet

Our hero is Diego Armando Maradona. He was born in 1960 in Lanus Argentina.
 He played Cebollitas when he was nine. The first team where  he played
was Argentinos  Juniors when he was eighteen. Then he travelled to
Italy and played in a Napoli team.  After that he returned to Argentina
and played in Boca Juniors in 1979 and  they were champions in 1981. In
1986 he  played in the  Mexico World Championship. He gave up soccer in 1991
because he was  a drug addict. And he returned in the USA  world
championship in 1994.  He played exellent but the doping   was positive.
In 1995 he was back in Boca Juniors.
