![]() Cincinnati-Ohio My hero is Mia Hamm. She now plays on the U.S. Women's Natonal Team.
Mia took them to the Olympics and won the gold in '96, (in Atlanta)
although she doesn't like taking credit for it all.
When I grow up, I want to be an athlete just like Mia. I would get to
travel around the world, play with the best women athletes in the U.S.,
and play against the hardest teams in the world.
To achieve my dream, I will have to practice often and stick with
soccer for a long time. I'm already playing two seasons of soccer a
year.
Mia is the best female soccer player I've ever watched. I want to be
like her and have people think of me like that.

Of all the people in the world I would choose my parents as my heroes.
My mother is very smart, and she would give her life for me and my
brother.
My dad is a teacher. He has been my soccer coach for almost as long as
I can remember.
I would like to be just like them because they are very smart, and they
would give anything for me. To be as well off as they are I would
have to continue school and get an exellent education. Almost the most
important is that I would have to get a good job to support me and my
family.

My hero is an interior designer. Interior designers are people that
design the inside (interior) of a person's house to make it livable and
satisfying.
I would want to be an interior designer because I like to design stuff,
and I am pretty good at it, too. You also get to draw and color
coordinate, and I love doing both of these things. To be able to do
this job, you have to be good in math at doing measurements. They have
to measure how much wall paper they will need for each square foot, or
how big or small the furniture has to be in order to fit in the space
allowed. The most important thing about being a designer is that
being able to help make people have a comfortable, and livable house.
In order to be an interior designer, I will have to graduate from high
school, and go to college.

My hero is Bobby Brannen. He is a really good basketball player and he
is respected by the Bearcats. He is also pretty cute.
I want to be like him because I would love to be known as well as
respected by the Bearcats. I would also like to be on TV.
What I would have to do to be like him would practice and become very
good at basketball.

My hero is Rick Pitino. I would like to be like him because he is a
good person and is loyal to the University of Kentucky.
He also has won a National Championship, and a ton of S.E.C. titles.

I want to be like my Aunt. She is always carpooling kids to classes
even though she doesn't have any. I want to be like her because she
is beautiful, athletic, and has good taste in friends, clothes and
music. To be like her I will have to be friendly with all people. I
think she is the best hero for me because these things are reasonable
tasks.

My idea of a hero is someone with no hero at all. Someone who models
themself after no one and does what they please no matter what people
do or say. Some one not afraid to stand up for what they believe in no
matter the consequences . Right now there is no one who I can see that
has those qualities. Even if I could I wouldn't call them a role
model. I wouldn't because I don't think people should model themselves
after anyone they should be themselves not someone else.

My hero is my Great Uncle Karl. He was a very rich inventor. He was
the inventor of the first off shore oil rig.
He had to work very hard to get where he got. He had to go to
college many years. He invented something used all over the world.
For me to get to the point where my uncle got it will take some time.
I will have to go to college for many years.
My Great Uncle Karl was a very talented man. Even though I never met
him, I am very proud to be part of his family.
