My Hero and Me

My hero is LeAnn Rimes. She inspires me because she is so young and has she
so much talent. I have always liked to sing and if I ever went into singing
I would want to be like her.

LeAnn is just another typical country girl from Dallas, also a fourteen
year old millionaire. Right now she is at the top of the country and pop
charts for her inspiring music.

Some of the music she has written herself and some other people have
written for her to sing.   Some of these songs are "Talk To Me", "One Way
Ticket" and "Honestly". She also sings songs that other people have written
that she took and recorded herself.   Some of these songs are "Unchained
Melody", "Blue", and "Cattle Call".

LeAnn has been singing since she was two years old. By the time she was
eleven years of age she had out her first album. It was called "After All"
.  Before she started singing professionally she opened concerts and sang
the "Star Spangled Banner"  for some of the Dallas Cowboy games.

LeAnn now has out her second album which is called "Blue" that has made her
a big star. I think that she has one of the nicest female country voices.
She says that this is a dream come true and that she has always wanted to
go into show business. This girl is going all the way.  LeAnn inspires me
to do basically one thing: to set my own goals for myself and to stick to
them.

     When I was asked to write this essay on my "hero", I was told to open
with the sentence: "My hero inspires me to do great things someday." But I
couldn't. You see, my "hero" is my Great Grandmother, Nana Cash.
     She never did anything awe-inspiring, or courageous, she just lived a
long and, relatively, happy life.
     Nana was born in August of 1900. She was 16 when women became people,
that was over 80 years ago. Since then she got married and had eight
children. She lost both her eldest son, and her husband to heart-attack.
Now she's 96 years-old and doesn't look or feel a day over 80.
     My Great Grandmother has many inspiring qualities. She is only person
I know worth writing about. She is kind, and loving, and that's why she'll
always be a hero to me.

Me and My Hero
         My hero is Drew Barrymore.  She is my hero because she is a
beautiful person.  She is a great actress,  I have seen every movie she has
been in.  My favorite movie she has ever done  was ' Boys on the Side.' I
thought it was hilarious.  I learned a lot about Drew  that we have in
common , on an info hunt.  Her first name is actually  Andrew ,  my name is
actually  Patrisha,  everyone just  calls me Trish.  I am a vegetarian like
Drew,  but that isn't the reason I don't eat meat.  She gets her name from
her father John Drew Barrymore,  her mothers name is Jaid Barrymore.  I
really like her acting, she is magnificent.  I would like to act when I am
older but not start right off like Drew did.  When she was really young she
stared  in a Puppy Choice dog food commercial.   I think people who act are
magnificent !  Who else would live a fake life in front of a camera.  I
think that Actors and Actresses are very brave and heedful in my own way of
looking at them  but I think Drew is the best.  She's my hero!

Neil Armstrong inspires me because he was the first person to walk on the
moon. This event is important to me because it started the future of space
travel, and the beginning of coloinization on another planet. Another of
the reasons why he inspires me is because he is an astronaut. When the time
comes that I have to get a job, I want to be astronaut. He is one that
sticks out and is important to me. I would like to follow in similar foot
steps by being one of the first to explore Mars. His accomplishments by
going to the moon provides great inspiration and determination for me.
These are some of the reasons why Neil Armstrong is my hero.

My Hero And Me

     I know most people think of famous people when the word "hero" is
mentioned but not me.  I think of my Uncle Rich.  I look up to him a lot
and I really have fun doing activities with him.  He makes me laugh even if
I'm sad and he is always there for me in the bad times to lean on.

    When I was younger I only used to see him in the summer for one month
and that was my favourite time of the year.  It was like Christmas in the
summer!  My sister and I would braid his hair and wear ice cream pails on
our heads and do silly stuff like that with him.  Uncle Rich and Aunt Sandy
used to take us places like the zoo or West Edmonton Mall, all in one
month.

   Uncle Rich is a farmer and has about 90 head of purebred horned
Herefords, 3 horses and 1 dog.  The farm has been running for over 40 years
now because my Grandfather started it when he was younger.  Uncle Rich was
the second oldest in his family, my Mom is the oldest.  But he doesn't act
like it!

    I admire many things about him like how he takes so much care of his
cattle, his sense of humour and he makes life really interesting.  I would
like to be like him when I get older or similar.

    I still braid his hair once in a while but its getting pretty thin now!
I feel that I am very lucky to have him as a part of my life and no matter
how old he gets I will always look up to because he is my HERO!

MY HERO AND ME

   Hi my name is Rhiann Wirchenko. My hero is Claudia Schiffer,who is one
of the top five models in the modelling industry today.

   Claudia was born in Rheinberg Germany on August 25,1970 which makes her
twenty-six right now. She was found dancing in a Dussledorf disco five
years ago. Right now she is making a film about her life,she has a $6
million contract with Revlon for four years and earns $30 000 per show.
David Copperfield and her were engaged but she called it off.

   I would like to be like Claudia in many ways-not just because she's
pretty but I'm planning on going into modelling myself. I like her attitude
and the way she goes about things,she's really laid back. I also want to
model like her. I like the way she poses and she will be in a few movies in
the near future. I would love to be in a movie when I'm older.

   The reason I want to be in modelling is because I want everyone to know
who I am and I think it will be a successful career. I also like to travel
and models travel quite a bit. One other reason is because you don't have
to do good in school but I'm still going to do my best.

   When Claudia was describing her life growing up it really reminded me of
myself. She was very determined and never let little things get in her way
and I think if I do the same I'll get my dream in life!
