PREWRITING
Centro Cultural Brasil Estados Unidos, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Hello!! Everybody of the TOE Project 98 . :) :) :)
Now, We would like to tell you about our city. We live in Santos,
located on the south coast of Sao Paulo, in Brazil, it has about
500, 000 inhabitants. In our opinion, Santos is a very beautiful
city . There is a beach with the longest garden in the world
(8 kilometers of extension).
There are many places to visit here: aquarium, museums, a botanic
garden, an oceanographic center, Santos Soccer Team Stadium
(the team Pele used to play at), and of course the beaches. Our
city has the biggest port of South America and it is the most
important economic resource to the city.
Our group decided to describe the beach and the port. The beach,
because it is the place everyone who comes to Santos must visit
and we "Santistas" (people from Santos) love to go. And we also
want to describe our Port because it is a very important place in
our community.
