Our class has recently voted to describe a local landmark for this
project. It is called Portland Headlight which is a well-known
lighthouse on the Maine coast located at Fort Williams. If you have seen
a photograph of a tall white lighthouse on the rocky coast of New
England, there's a good chance you've seen our favorite spot since it is
frequently photographed for postcards, calendars, books, and other
publications. We'll do our best to take you there with us in our essay.
