Hello to all participants of the TOE Project98!

My name is Simone Marques, and I am the teacher in charge of this group.
This is an intermediate class at CCBEU, a Binational Center here in
Santos, Sao Paulo-Brazil.  They have classes twice a week, and they will
be working on this project as part of their writing program.  They preferred 
writing individual introductions, and in fact, they are eager to read yours
too. So, here they are, and we will be looking forward to hearing from all
of you.

have one sister, her name is Carolina, and she is17 years old. In 
Santos, everything is beautiful. I love to live here. we can go to the 
beach, movies and shopping center. I like to go to the shopping center
and disco, but I hate to go to the beach, because I think it is boring.
I study at a small school, its name is Liceu Sao Paulo, I have studied
English for two years. I like to swim, play volleyball, and roller skate.
Here,  in Santos, you can visit aquarium and " orquidario" , a beautiful

are many things to do. You can go to the beach, to the shopping center,

to the disco. However, I hate to go to the beach. I have studied English
for 2 years. I also like to play tennis. In Santos, you can visit the Aquarium
and "Orquidario", a park with some plants and animals!

Here in Santos there are beautiful and interesting places we can visit
for exemple the beach, aquarium, museum, the noble districts, the
downtown is the history of Santos. The good in Santos too is the Taekwondo of  Fabio Gulart the champion Sulamericano and Panamericano. Well, that's all the good points of some parts of Santos.

talk about my city. Santos is a very exciting city. There is "Santos Futebol Clube of Vila Belmiro". In 1960 this team was the best of the
world. Pele was the the best player of  the world and played in this
wonderful team. The Santos F. C. won many championships. In 1962
and 1963 won the championship of the world and America. The "Vila Belmiro" is one of the most known stadiums of the world and the most
in Brazil. Many people visit Santos cause this team "Santos".
If one of  you to want visit this city, I can help you to visit other
places as the beach. We can meet better, talk better and, of course,

Hi everybody:,  I am Thiago but the friends call me Zio ,I am a boy
who likes pretty girls and heavy metal  . I live in Santos  a city near
the sea ; but I never mind  the  beach  (in beach  I only like to take a
look at  the girls)  I love to drink beer and every weekend  I go
hiking  with  my friends.  The kind of girl what I prefer is: blond
and   tall  ,the kind of bands I like is :Metallica, Iron Maiden , Sepultura , Viper, Nirvana , Marilyn Manson  and othes.  Some peoples
think all the brazilians like Rio de Janeiro, but I hate there ,well
