LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
Invergordon Primary School, Victoria, Australia

G’day to everyone!
We are a grade 5/6 classroom from Invergordon, Victoria, Australia. You
probably won’t be able to find Invergordon on any maps, but we are here.
Invergordon is about 30 kilometres NNE of Shepparton in the state of
Victoria. It is a small rural community with a township of 11 houses, a
general store (another is about 4kms away on the main Shepparton to Cobram
road), a cricket oval, tennis courts, community hall, church and school.
It is a closely settled area of dairy farms and orchards. Our school has
76 children from Grade Prep through to Grade 6. Our Grade has 14 Grade 5
kids (6 boys and 8 girls) and 8 Grade 6 kids ( 4 boys and 4 girls). Our
teacher is Mr Cairns and he is also the Principal.
Our names are:
Grade 5: Ben, Carmel, Catherine, David, Dustin, Emma, Jakob, Jasmine,
Jodie, Justin, Kylie, Shayne, Stefanie and Teigen.
Grade 6: Daniel, Jamie, Jarrod, Kelly G, Kelly W, Michael, Rhiannon and
Tarryn.
It is spring here now and it is starting to get warm and windy. Everyone
says it might be the start of a drought because we haven’t had much rain
for a long time.
Bye for now from Grade 5/6.
