We are a group of four students of different ages. Some of us are attending
 the secondary school, Agustin is at the University studying psychology and
 Paola planning to enter it next year.

 Our names are Paola, Agustin, Alexander and Juan Cruz.

 We study English because we think it is very important for our future.
 We are writing and investigating about our city, Mar del Plata,a splendid
 place where we are growing up with games,friends and dreams.


 Mar del Plata is plenty in history,buildings and people. We are going to
 write about our city,place by place and slowly because we want it have it
 made it known in other countries like yours,for example.


 * My name is Paola, my ancestors are Italian but I was born in Mar del Plata.
 I am 20 and I want to study archeology but it is difficult because I have
 to settle in a place situated  1,000 km. from my city.
 My family is big. I have a sister whose name is Lucia and who is one and a
 half year.Then, my father and his wife,then,my mother and grandmother,and a
 lot of cousins,aunts and uncles.
 And not all of them are in Mar del Plata. Some of them are in other places
 of Argentina and some others abroad: Puerto Rico,The States, Portugal, Spain
 I love my family and I would like to have one alike the day I have my own
 family.

 * My name is Juan Cruz.As Paola wrote above we study English together but I
am fifteen years old.I was born here in Mar del Plata and I love it because
I have a lot of friends at school and we have a good time there and ,of
course,we also share nice experiences out of school.  I love horseriding 
and music.I spend hours listening to it when I have spare time.
From now on,we will do our best to share information and learn from you.

 * My name is Alexander.I was born in Mar del Plata in 1983 so I am 14.
Here, people, specially my friends are very solidary and you can be sure they
are good boys. My best friend's name is Johnatan but we all call him "Tano",
short for :"Italiano". Here,they call :"tanos" to the Italians but in a
friendly way. We both like rollerskating and we are very good at sports.
I identify myself with North American and English music, like "Smashing
Pumpkins","Red Hot Chili Peppers" among others.
My golden dream is to be a singer and I would be very proud at achieving my
aim.  I have a very big population of Lab-rats,I love them.

 * My name is Agustin.I am twenty years old.I am a psychology student and I
attending First Year.  I live in Mar del Plata.I do not live exactly 
downtown but my house is situated in a popular area,because the Coach 
Station is near it. Going back to Mar del Plata,I can tell you that it is more 
than buildings, neighbourhoods,parks or beaches;it represents the place 
where once my grandparents decided to live,where my mother and my 
father met and the world's corner where I would like to die.
People are very cordial,they possess the sensibility characteristic to the
people of a town mixed with the crazy speed of all big city.
In conclusion, Mar del Plata, is just what you want it to be.
