Imagine yourself sitting on the shore of your favorite lake, the
sky filled with brightly lit stars. Each star looks like an explosion in
the seemingly endless black sky. When you look across the lake, you can see
the giant pine trees silhouetted by the huge yellow moon slowly dropping
behind them. There are dozens of cabins with people fast asleep inside. A
slight breeze is blowing the fresh scent of pine to your nose. Everything
is silent except for the sound of tiny waves gently touching the land. The
sand you are sitting on is very soft and still a bit warm from the hot sun
earlier in the day. There is a small boat in the middle of the lake making
one last desperate attempt to catch the giant walleye that is said to bite
in the later hours. The lake is reflecting as if there were another world
underneath. Suddenly a fish jumps, shattering the stillness. You are
startled, but you soon recover. Then with all the peacefulness, you lay
your head down and fall asleep.
