Hi!!
We are the students from the St. Mary School Undercroft Writing Station.
We would like to describe one of our favorite places in Hyde Park. This
place is within walking distance from our school, and some people like to
relax here and maybe have a Greater's ice cream cone.
It contains many cafes and old buildings, so it represents our community
well. People of all ages enjoy the sidewalk shops and the large fountain in
the middle of this place. The fountain is the focal point and the pleasure
of many children. Children also like to see the fire truck exit its station
with its loud sirens.
Adults enjoy going to the library and reading, sometimes. The library is
located here, also.
Since this letter is complete, we'd better tell you what our site is. It is
Hyde Park Square.
We hope you have a chance to come and visit someday.
