Aloha! from Kaua'i, Hawaii!! Kaua'i is a very tropical island so we have chosen a very special place on Kaua'i to do our project. This place is Kokee. Kokee is a home for many plants and animals such as the i'iwi bird, deer, kokee plum, mountain apple, moutain Goats, honey suckles, the lehua, and many other rare and indigenous plants and animals including our island's berry, the mokihana which has an indescribably beautiful fragrance. Our class will be going on a field trip to Kokee next week so that we can experience the beauty of Kokee and be able to share even more with all of you.
