Are your schools looking for a motto? Well ours is "Relever le defi" which means "Take up the challenge". Our colours are red, gray, and black =97 a fairly good colour combination. Our mascot, a jaguar, is awesome! All our school shirts have a jaguar on them. We're known as the Jeanne Sauve Jaguars. Justin, Evan, Annick

No violence is permitted on the school grounds at Jeanne Sauve. We have rules posted in all our classes. No violence is our main rule =91cause we are cool. Nick, Matt, Sherrie

Now would you like to know some of the special events we do at our school? We hold a Skate-a-thon to raise money for the Sunshine Foundation and a Read-a-thon to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. At Hallowe'en we collect money for UNICEF. We have a lot of food drives. At the end of the school year we give the clothes that were left at the school to Goodwill. Naomi, Kai, Malcolm

Environmental projects are a big part of the school life at Jeanne Sauve. We participate in the Seeds Program which encourages kids to recycle and to keep Jeanne Sauve clean. When we've completed an activity that helps the environment, we fill out a form; the librarian puts the form into a special book. We recycle paper, cans, bottles and juice boxes. We organize garbage crews. Everyday we think about other ways we can help the environment. Everybody does his or her part. Dale, Michael

Seven of our students are in grade 6, and 18 of our pupils are in grade 5. We have 25 peers in our class: 12 girls and 13 boys. We have 8 teachers: Mme Delasa, Mme Howerow, Miss Roper, Mlle Glasgow, Mme Griffith-Jones, Mme Rathbar, Constable Fizzle, and Mr. Rule. We really enjoy our class. We have really friendly peers. Christine, Stephanie, Richard

At our school we speak in French. We enjoy doing French and are up to the challenge to learn in a second language. We also have English; if we decide to go to an English high school, we will be at the grade nine English level. We have a lot of fun subjects. Michelle, Anna

Usually we do very well in cross country. One of our peers gets first or second place every year. We also do well in track and field. We do volleyball, basketball, floor hockey and soccer. We, at Jeanne Sauve, are very proud of our athletes and their achievements. Anna, Michelle

Various clubs are offered at our school: dance, choir, math, and chess. The club activities take place at different times of the year. They are a lot of fun. Sarah, Niki, Jen

Et c'est tout! We're going to enjoy doing the "Through Our Eyes" project with you. We hope you're going to have fun with us, and that you'll remember us as a fun bunch. Anna, Michelle
