Letter of Introduction
I teach the gifted resource program at Country Isles Elementary in Weston. We
just became a city, which is in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The class that I have
chosen to do this project with is the fourth grade students. I have sixteen
of them that come to me for language arts and reading instruction along with
other activities that we do.
I have a total of 56 children in my program. I chose to write with my fourth
grade group because it was one of their mothers that found this project on
the internet.
The fourth, eighth, and tenth grade students in the state of Flordia get
tested on the writing skills in a formal way.
