G' day mates. We are from Blayney, New South Wales, Australia and we are writing to YOU, the world. "We" are a computing class of years 8 & 9's at Blayney High School. There are 16 in our class and only 4 being boys.
Letter of Introduction
Blayney is small town of approximately 3000 people. Our community also involves smaller surrounding villages. Although it is small it is very friendly. We are situated in the middle of the largest cities in N.S.W. including Canberra, Sydney, Wagga, Dubbo, Newcastle and Wollongong. We are also 1\2 hour away from 2 larger towns (around 30 000) Orange and Bathurst. Blayney is not overly commercialised meaning we have no Mac Donalds or K.F.C.
In summer we experience drought and in Winter we are one of few areas in Australia that actually snows. The temperatures we get range from 30-35 degrees Celsius to -10 degrees Celsius. Our landscape is made up of a lot of bush, hills, farms, dams and rivers.
