We haven't heard from Alma in Italy, BUT we are delighted to welcome Teresa and Giampaolo's class of 8th Graders from Portomaggiore, in Italy.
I looked on my map and found the town on the road from Ferrara to Ravenna, in a famous historical area of North East Italy. Teresa has sent a list of pupils and I shall be shortly sending through LISTSERV KIDPROJ a batch of introductory letters to her group.
As a matter of interest, the Romans were in our part of Israel also. They rebuilt the great city of Beit Shean, on the road from Tiberias to Jerusalem - our school is just 2 kilometers from it. Experts say that the archaeological site of Beit Shean can compare favourably with many of the finest Roman sites in Italy ! Many visitors come from Italy and other European countries to see this site on their pilgrimage to see the Holy Places they know from the Bible. We are situated about 30 minutes from Tiberias, 10 minutes from Mt Gilboa and 2 hours from Jerusalem.
HI Asaf Segal,my name is Viola Bruni. I have got light brown hair and blue eyes. Viola=3Dviolet in English. I love playing with my computer, too, but sometimes it makes me crazy. (I wrote a long text two times and it always cleaned):(( I love two sports very much: karate and soccer. I seldom practise football, just for amusement, with my cousin and my friends.
I love the country and during the summer I stay at my grandparents' and I help them. I pick up apples, pears, peches... I wear casual clothes.
I hate school, but I love spending my summer with my cousins and my nice friends :))
