| Here are some poems from the Patrick Therriault School in Sinclair, Maine. I have a dream that there would be peace. I have a dream that there would be no wars. I have a dream that there would be Love. There would be friendship in my dream. I have a dream that there would be no fires. I have a dream that there would be food and water. I have a dream that there would be houses. I have a dream that there would be no sickness at all. Samantha Grade 4 When I look at the moon and the stars above the world standing peacefully. I have a dream of peace for other people and my future. When I look at the flowers standing gratefully in the sun. I have a dream of people helping each other. When I look at the rivers I see the current making it flow smoothly and gracefully. I have a dream of peace all around the world. Peace is freedom and friendship to all people. Randi grade 4 I have a dream that every one lives in peace. Peace means no wars. Peace means everyone is happy. Peace means love throughout the world. Peace means joy and happiness. Peace means no more hungry or homeless people. Peace means no pain. Peace means kindness. But to me peace means happiness,joy,love,and kindness. Eric grade 4 I have a dream of not living in a city that has gangs that steal and break windows and do graffiti. I have a dream of being able to trust a stranger. I have a dream of not having violence in this world. I have a dream that everyone can get along with each other without comparing. Alex grade 4 I have a dream there is no fighting. I have a dream of people helping people. I have a dream there is no slavery. I have a dream there is a friend that is there for you. I have a dream people don't care what color Or what race people,friends, or workers are. I have a dream that caring for everybody is easy. I have a dream and that dream is love and caring. Joshua Grade 5 I have a dream that the world is a place where there is no conflict. A place where judgement is not by color but by attitude. A place where people may not be friends but will help each other out. A place where no war will beginand a place where everyone is treated the same way. A place where everyone can go into the same school and not be hurt. A place where one can stay in a home without rocks being thrown at them. A place where children of different races and illnesses can play without their parents yelling at one another. Terrence grade 5 I have a dream that we can live in harmony. I have a dream we won't have wars, We won't have hatred in anybody. Peace is a kind heart , to a lonely friend. I have a dream that people will not judge others by race or sex. I have a dream that they will make peace with someone, I have a dream to make a new friend. I have a dream peace gives relief and happiness to a family that has been in war. I have a dream that people will not pollute in anyway and we can find cures for all diseases!! I have a dream that some day we will have a woman president! I have a dream children will not grow up orphans. I have a dream that we won't even need jails cause we will all have no reason to go there. I have a wonderful DREAM !!!!!!!!! Elizabeth 5th grade I have a dream that the world is peaceful. Peace is quiet. Peace is not dangerous. Peace is needed. Peace prevents fights. Peace is good to have. Peace means people will live together. Peace will make a good future. Peace will pervent wars from going on. Peace will make less shootings. And peace can bring God to you. Christopher grade 5 I have a dream there are no war between people, I have a dream people are treated the same way, I have a dream no one else hates one another, I have a dream there's no killing, I have a dream there's no conflict, I have a dream there's no more hungry people, I have a dream there's no homeless people. BRYAN 5 GRADE I have a dream that one day there will be no fighting. I have a dream there will be no name calling. I have a dream every one will respect every one else. I have a dream to not judge people by color but personality. I have a dream there will be no war. I have a dream every one will have fun. I have a dream when people are down, every one will be nice. I have a dream no one will get diseases or illnesses. I have a dream every one will ihave friends and family. Dustin grade 6 I have a dream that we won't live in an place that has wars in our town every day of our live. I have a dream everyone gets along and there is no more wars. I have a dream people don't have to live their lives as slaves anymore. I have a dream people respect all people the same way they respect their friends. I have a dream people don't starve and be hungry anymore. I have a dream people don't argue a lot. I have a dream that people help other people out. Adam grade 6 |
