The theme of this book is Samantha's life.  This book is about a very
rich girl named Samantha Hawkins.  Her Grandmary is very PROPER and lady
like.  Samantha thinks she looks like a queen.  Grandmary usually is
just sitting around and stitching.  Jessie is just the nanny.  She also
is the one that makes all the clothes and if the clothes rip then Jessie
sews it all up.  Eddie is a little annoying boy that lives next door.
He always gets on Samantha's nerves.  Well, I'll leave Nellie and
Nathaniel a surprise for you.  At least you'll have a surprise in the
book.
My opinion of this book is that it was an excellent book.  This is a
book that you want to hurry up and read it because it is very
interesting.

How I Survived Being  A Girl

This is a book about a girl named Carolyn.  She has an older brother
who doesn't hang out with her anymore, and a younger brother she plays
spy with.  Growing up being a girl isn't a nice ride in the car for her.
She isn't even allowed to do certain things just because she is a girl.
That's why she wants to be a boy.  When her mom has a baby girl, Carolyn
decides it's not so bad being a girl when you have someone to talk to
even when they can't her you or talk to you.  She tell you some tips
like: Keep you hair too short for  ribbons and spy on the neighbors.  If
you like what I wrote so far you should go buy this book right away!!
I really did enjoy reading this book.  I liked it so much I stayed up
late at night reading it.  Carolyn reminded me of the times I spied on
my friends and didn't ever  wear ribbons!  I liked how the writer put
Carolyn in realistic problems (most of the time).  I like this book and
I think if you are a girl might like this book!

you what it is.  Read the book.
I liked this book and I would recommend this book to my friend.  I
liked this book because it had a good style of writing.  Not everyone
would like this book because it's not real.  Thank you for reading my

The Chicken Doesn't Skate
By Gordon Korman

I think the author wrote this book to tell us that our plans may go
wrong, but that may be not a bad thing.
This book is about Milo Neal, a boy who is new in town.  He was working
on a science fair project.  His project was to get a baby chick, raise
it, slaughter it, cook it, and then serve  it to the judges.
Milo was raising Henrietta in the classroom as part of his project.
All of the kids helped take care of her and learned to love her, except
Zachary, Milo's best friend.  Henrietta and Zachary hated each other.
Adam, the captain of the Rangers hockey team took Henrietta to a Rangers
game when he was caring for her.  The rangers won the game and broke a
five game losing streak.  The team thought she was heir good lick charm.
Someone stole Henrietta.  I'm not going to tell you who, but the knew
Henrietta was to be slaughtered on Wednesday at Arnold's butcher shop.
She escaped and ran over to where the science fair was being held.
I think this book was funny and pretty action packed.  You never knew
what the people or the chicken would do next.  If you are a kid that is
about 10 years old and like comedy, this is the book for you.
