Who Next?

Benni the teddybear is off on his trip around the world. He has with him some things from Iceland, most of which are in English. My students in 8.HS. made all the preparations and the things in Benni's box are theirs. Vonnie Phillips in Califorina received Benni first and Frada Boxer will get him next. The Benni the Bear Project is a registered Kidlink project. The goal of this project is to link kids around the world. Benni will travel from one school to another. On his travels he will gather information about different people and cultures.

In Benni's box there are some things about Iceland that teachers can use in their classrooms while Benni is there. My kids in 8. HS. prepared this project and collected the things in Benni's box. Every school that gets Benni can if they want to put a little something in the box. When a school gets Benni, they must sent him of to the next school. I'm sorry to say that we, my kids and I, can not pay for all his trips, so the schools that get Benni will have to pay for his next trip.

I thank you for the support.

Your School Isn't Here? Don't Despair

I am sorry to say that the rest of you must wait a little... I must get Benni back before the end of our school year because I am taking a leave of absence from my school for a year or two....But I will be in E-mail contact with my students..

Well, THIS IS NOT THE END THOUGH!

When he gets back here we will just fuel him up and send him on his way again. Would the schools in the southern hemisphere who would like Benni during the end of June and the months of July and August please email me?

I'm thinking that this trip is just a trial run, from which I've learned a lot.

I am going to have Benni going around the world again. This time he will have an itinerary which will include projects that the kids will work on when he is in their classroom and as well as dates when all the kids will meet on the kidirc.

So keep watching for details of the NEW Benni the Bear Around the World Trip!!!
