Kidlink: KIDCAFE: Electronic Youth Presidential Poll

Voting

Who is eligible to vote?

All Kidlink participants are eligible.

How do I join the discussion?

If you are subscribed to KIDCAFE-TOPICS, then join in the discussion right away! Post a new topic, or continue an existing one. If you are not currently subscribed to KIDCAFE-TOPICS, send a message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU with the text "SUBSCRIBE KIDCAFE-TOPICS Your Name" where "Your Name" is your name. Remember, only Kidlink participants are allowed to participate in KIDCAFE-TOPICS.

How do I submit my vote?

Your vote can be sent by simply sending a message to gnovick@capaccess.org with the name of the candidate you are voting for as well as your e-mail address. Ballots posted on KIDCAFE-TOPICS or sent without an e-mail address in them will NOT be counted. You will receive confirmation that your vote has been counted.

Can a whole class vote?

If you are a teacher and you have a class of students who are registered Kidlink participants, then your students can vote by a tally. Send a message with the total number of votes for each candidate as well as the teacher's name and e-mail address. You will receive confirmation that your votes have been counted.

Can someone else send the ballots for my class because I don't have e-mail access?

Yes, as long as the students are registered participants of Kidlink. Be sure to include the name of the teacher in the message. Sometimes a single e-mail address sends multiple classes ballots. Be sure to distinguish each teacher's class clearly with their name.

Can students from international countries vote?

Definetly. International votes are welcome.
