The Electronic Youth Presidential Poll is an interactive election and discussion about the Presidential candidates in the United States Presidential election. World-wide KIDCAFE participants engage in discussion about political issues and candidates on the KIDCAFE-TOPICS discussion list and vote for the candidate they see fit to be President of the United States. Though kids in the real world don't have any say in who becomes President, their decision does make a difference: they are the voters of the future, and the opinions they form now will influence their electoral decisions in the future. In addition, the KIDCAFE Electronic Youth Presidential Poll gives kids an idea of what it is like to choose a candidate, and what their vote can mean.
The 1996 KIDCAFE Electronic Youth Presidential Poll runs until October 30th. Results will be announced on or around October 31st. Press are welcome. For information on participating, find out how to vote.
